Brandon "Flawless" Gonzales - Making Of A Star!

by David Duenez

Flawless is exactly what we got at the Grand Sierra Resort, Reno, Nevada when Brandon Gonzales stopped journeyman Victor Villereal in four rounds. In a impressive K.O win over a fighter never been out in his 14 professional fights Gonzales not only made him victim to his K.O list but outclassed Villereal in a star stunned manner. Speed and accuracy not only special effect the eyes but the well mixed of arsenal combo's dazzled the crowd.

Born at Portland, Oregon then raised in Sacramento, California,MiddleWeight Gonzales has convicted a KO percentage of 80% over his opponents. His undefeated record of 9-0-(8KOs) could easily spark interest but the fashion of disposal he compels over his opponents is the crackle in the fire . Lets Get It On Promotions has differently birth a star into their organization with mapping themselves with a young gifted Mexican/African American prize fighter. Gonzales not only factors the laws of a special prize fighter but conveys the quality that the media crusade paparazzi on. Gonzales weave of heritage give marketing opportunities and his well mannered speech to address the sea of boxing fans unclosed stardom.

If you relish in speed, ring generalship, and tranquil counter punching then Gonzales providing style takes you to that category. Or if you edge for the traditional come forward gut your foe with toe to toe action; unnecessary risks for the necessary glory then again Gonzales communicates fisticuffs with the fans. Gonzales nail biting prize fighter enfeeble persecute style mirrors the heritage pulsing in his veins. There is no denying he thrones in both worlds, the slickness of a African-American fighter and the crudeness of a Mexican slugger.

Gonzales carefully understands his position to both communities and welcomes them with no hesitation. He has noted in his skill level he prides both style's and has openly admitted "I have been dropped due to my Mexican heritage of wanting to stand and trade which caused me to get caught ,but its in my blood to want to fight, the Mexican in me ."

Now some who have followed Gonzales from the beginning could easy dissect his early knockdown to be a red flag of questionable chin or even immaturity of a newly prize fighter not knowing when to fall back on their lead. However in Gonzales case you could argue the fashion he gained control after seating the canvas. Lets not forget some great fighters have mowed the canvas ALA Trinidad and De La Hoya to still dare to be great. With only 9 bouts under his belt and signed to a charge promotional company "Lets Get It On" answers could unravel quickly for us hardcore fans. Doubters could be rooters with the schedule rate of fighting six time's a year with tested combatants to company Gonzales in the ring. Or the court of a a rising star not harmonizing the brightness of evidence to jury believers he falls victim to a stepping stone for other prospects.

But seeing with my own two eyes my judgment of believing the images that photo to my brain of boxing courtship, I would give my final closing statement of "If their is any flaw in the repertoire of Brandon "Flawless" Gonzales it would be he is shining so bright you forgot to wear shades to see this star Coming."

On the undercard of super-middleweight match-up between Curtis “Showtime” Stevens and Jesse Brinkley, Brandon Gonzales will continue his convincing at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 in the Grand Theatre at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno,NV . Tickets are now on sale for the event, presented by Grand Sierra Resort, Star Boxing and Let’s Get It On Promotions, are $40, $75, $100 and $1000 for a King’s Row Booth for four people.

Enjoyed reading your article. I enjoyed reading how Gonzales has merged his Mexican and African American cultures to make him a better overall fighter. You brought a human approach to the article. Good job

Man i have yet seen this dude fight RuFF but u have mentioned him several times on the radio show and had him on twice i think hope he is all that u say hehehehe!!!

Great, Great article. If you want to see brandon fight and your not in Reno, Jan 29th. He should be on the TV portion of RXF 2, on ESPN 2. He'd be on at exactly 7 if he gets on.

i saw Brandon fight in Sactown and he has skills to pay the bills but i didnt know dude was part Mexican I thought he was Cuban or something thanxs for the info.

Brandon is gonna take it to the top! Plus, his wife is beautiful and amazing... and she boxes too. I'm looking forward to Brandon's boxing career blowing the f*ck up.

He is in the middleweight division??? he would have to get by Sergio Martinez or Kelly Pavlik to be a star in my book havent heard of him yet but he fights like those black guys in America he wont be worth watching

Frochisking: "Black guys" in America are taking over all sports, including boxing. Pure Atleticism. European style can't hang well with us bad ass Americans. You seen what Ward did to your boy right?

LOL that is funny mate cuz I remember what Arthur Abraham and Froch did too ur boys LOL KO'd them and had the other running scared blacks are not taking over the boxing sport if i recall yank Pacman is and always latinos and us U.K's have the heavy division's do ur research before commenting u dumb yank

Brandon is a really good upcoming prospect and has the tools to be great I dont know why some ppl have to hate why not wait tillthe proof is in the pudding Lets Go Flawless!!!!!!

Dumb yank hahaha either way lil homie the US runs this ish!!

Gonzales is sure lucky there is no one in the division to worry about they all left to 168 so the playing field is open for him to dominate now its up to his promoter to match him right not carefully but right I would hate to see another Mayeather I think the public needs another Pacquiao best of luck Gonzales.Great article
